The Link Group Management Team

Brad Camrud, Co-Founder and President

camrudBrad co-founded The Link Group in 1994 and currently divides time between leadership and project management roles. Brad began his career at Procter & Gamble and has 20+ years of experience in consumer intelligence.  He is a RIVA-trained moderator who has personally conducted over 1,000 focus groups around the world and oversees a qualitative division that has executed over 10,000 total.

Brad has a Master’s Degree in International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.

He is the principle in The Link Group’s Atlanta office.

Tom Pfeil, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

PfeilTom co-founded The Link Group in 1994 and currently divides time between leadership and project management roles.

Tom is a professional researcher, starting off at Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola in various customer intelligence roles, and now has 20+ years of research experience.   He oversees a quantitative division that has completed 5,000,000+ surveys in the past decade.

Tom attended the University of Florida for undergraduate and University of Texas for his MBA.

He is the principle in The Link Group’s Raleigh-Durham office.   

Jim Pullen, Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer

PullenJim serves a dual role at The Link Group as its Chief Technical Officer and as a Project Leader.  He specializes in the Technology and Healthcare sectors.

Jim is a former brand manager with Procter & Gamble and has 12+ years of experience in product research and marketing.  He is a RIVA-trained moderator and has led over 1,000 focus groups.

Jim has a Master’s Degree in Business from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.   He also served as a Captain in the US Army.

Jim joined The Link Group in 1998 and is based out of the Raleigh-Durham office.

Wayne Haseley, Senior Vice President

HaseleyWayne is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained moderator with The Link Group.  He specializes in the CPG and Retail sectors.  He also created and heads our Onsite Insights™ ethnographic research program.

Wayne began his research career Eastman Kodak and Coca-Cola and has more than 20 years experience in consumer product research.

Wayne has an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He joined The Link Group in 1999 and is based out of the Atlanta office.

Steve Barnard, Ph.D., Senior Vice President

BarnardSteve is a Project Leader, RIVA-trained moderator, and oversees all customer satisfaction and tracking studies.

Steve’s prior research experience includes global customer satisfaction, branding and advertising studies at IBM.   Steve has an extensive statistics background and leads several modeling and high-end analytics programs.  He has experience in a wide variety of industries including Retail, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, and Media.

Steve has a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville.  He joined The Link Group in 2002 and is based out of the Atlanta office.

Michelle R. Hunt, Ph.D., Senior Vice President

HuntMichelle is a Project Leader, Moderator and oversees all segmentation studies.  She specializes in the Technology and Healthcare sectors.

Michelle is a faculty member of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Before coming to The Link Group she was involved with various research and marketing  responsibilities at IBM.

Michelle has a Ph.D. in Marketing from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.  She joined The Link Group in 2005 and is based out of the Raleigh-Durham office.

Cyndi Lindeman, Senior Vice President

LindemanCyndi is a Project Leader, RIVA-trained Moderator, and serves as a marketing strategy expert at The Link Group.

Cyndi has 15+ years experience in brand management, marketing and market research in US and global markets.  Prior to joining The Link Group, Cyndi was a Marketing Director with Procter & Gamble.   She also worked with a start-up medical products company leading a team in disease state and healthcare market strategy.

Cyndi has a B.S. from the University of Virginia and is a certified coach with the Newfield Network, a multi-discipline learning and strategy organization.  She joined The Link Group in 2007 and is based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Michelle Lester, Research Director

LesterMichelle is a Project Leader, RIVA-trained moderator, and is one of our qualitative experts at The Link Group.  She has extensive experience in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Product Goods sectors.

Michelle is a career researcher, joining The Link Group after receiving her Masters in Market Research (MMR) from the University of Georgia in Athens. Michelle also received an undergraduate degree in International Business from the University of Georgia.

She joined The Link Group in 2002 and is based out of the Atlanta office.

Tommy Galloway, Research Director

Galloway Tommy is a Project Leader, RIVA-trained Moderator, and leads several of our statistical modeling programs.  He specializes in the Technology and Healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining the company, Tommy managed IBM’s business unit research.  Tommy has an extensive statistics background and has experience designing and leading global brand tracking studies.

Tommy has a Masters in Market Research (MMR) from the University of Georgia and undergraduate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.  He joined The Link Group in 2007 and is based out of the Raleigh-Durham office.

Denise Minor, Research Director

MinorDenise is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained Moderator at The Link Group.  She specializes in the Healthcare sector but has extensive experience across a variety of industries.

Denise is an expert in the fields of osteoporosis, diabetes, and critical care research.  Her experience focuses largely on qualitative and quantitative multi-phase global studies in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

Denise has a B.S. in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She joined The Link Group in 2000 and is based out of Richmond, Virginia. 

Jase Bumgardner, Research Director

BumgardnerJase is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained moderator at The Link Group.  He specializes in the Technology and Retail sectors.

Jase runs both qualitative and quantitative studies and areas of focus include concept development, marketing strategy, and product evaluation.  He is a team leader on consumer electronics and telecommunications studies.

Jase has a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He joined The Link Group in 2000 and is based out of the Atlanta office.

Laura Stone, Research Director

WriggelsworthLaura is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained Moderator.  She specializes in the Retail sector but has extensive experience across a variety of industries.  She is our lead Retail industry moderator.

Laura brings a high-energy approach to market research and has been a key member of our Onsite InsightsTM ethnographic research program since its inception.

Laura has a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She joined The Link Group in 2001 and is based out of the Raleigh-Durham office.

Andrew Tavolacci, Research Director

TavolacciAndrew is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained Moderator at The Link Group.  He has extensive experience in the Healthcare, CPG and Publishing sectors.

Andrew has 15+ years experience conducting and managing qualitative and quantitative research, in both US and globally.  His pharmaceutical experience ranges from pre-launch product development to post-launch product marketing and optimization.  Prior to joining The Link Group, Andrew worked in brand management at Novartis Ophthalmics, where he was responsible for Rx and OTC brands.

Andrew has a B.A. in Psychology from Binghamton University.  He joined The Link Group in 2007 and is based out of the Atlanta office.

Wendy Foster, Senior Research Manager

FosterWendy is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained moderator at The Link Group.  She has experience across a variety of industries, specializing in the Healthcare sector.

Wendy has extensive domestic and global experience in diabetes, oncology, osteoporosis and rheumatology.  Prior to joining The Link Group, Wendy worked at the American Cancer Society where she focused on creating and executing corporate awareness plans to educate employees about early detection, prevention and the cancer journey.

Wendy has a B.A. in Marketing from Auburn University.  She joined The Link Group in 2004 and is based out of the Atlanta office.

Leanne Hussion, Senior Market Research Manager

HussionLeanne is a Project Leader and RIVA-trained Moderator.  She leads our trade show research division and has extensive qualitative and quantitative experience in Retail, CPG and Technology sectors.

Leanne has a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Georgia.  She joined The Link Group in 2004 and is based out of the Atlanta office.
