Michelle has over 15 years experience in marketing and marketing research, in both academic and corporate environments. She has been on the faculty of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill and the College of Management at NC State.
She has also worked at IBM, designing and managing international market research studies focusing on segmentation, concept developing and testing, and messaging and has worked in the advertising industry, focusing on branding and messaging research.
Michelle most recently headed her own market research consulting firm while teaching at NC State as Professor of Marketing. Michelle has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Virginia Tech. She has significant experience in statistical analysis and modeling, including conjoint analysis, structural equation modeling, and other multivariate techniques.
